how we met
In 2019, four outstanding musicians based in Austria decided to form an ensemble for new music and dedicated themselves to curiosity, exploration, collaboration and creativity.
what we want
We wish to explore international new music repertoire as well as collaborate with composers sharing their vision: rethink the traditional new music concert with other artists, dancers and thinkers of the world. In addition, the quartet wishes to address preoccupations of our modern society in their performances.
In 2021 between feathers is supported by SKE / austro mechana, the city of Vienna and the Austrian government in order to perform new works by Jeanne Artemis Strieder (DE), Lorenzo Troiani (IT), Feliz Anne Reyes Macahis, Tamara Friebel (AT), Flora Marlene Geißelbrecht (AT) and Kristis Auznieks (LV).
