Joyful Music (to celebrate life) – An hour-long journey through sound, movement and transformation by composer and interdisciplinary artist James Ditlevsen Black.
Combining live music, dance, video and text, Joyful Music asks the simplest and yet most profound questions: What does it mean to be alive? Can one person be more alive than another?
Three musicians and a movement artist take on changing roles in which boundaries become blurred: musicians dance, dancers make music, artists become spectators, and spectators become part of the work. These transformations give rise to a new shared language – one that celebrates presence, vitality and the joy of being together.
Joyful Music (to celebrate life) invites you to experience, reflect and feel life more intensely.
